One day we saw a little bird on the ground that fell from a nest. We picked her up and took her home and like the rabbits, it grew up and we had the bird flying around the house. One day when the mailman came to deliver the mail the bird parked on his shoulder! He was surprised. He looked around and was wondering where she came from. She stayed parked on his shoulder until the mailman went out of the front yard then the bird flew away. She was flying around the neighborhood for about six months, always returning to our house, until one day she never returned.

I stopped writing this story with the idea of continuing some other time so now after a year or so I decided to add a few sentences more to the book. I was 94 years old. I will be 96 next month and will be adding two more great grandchildren to my list.

1. Sierra age 10
2. Skye 7
3. Nikolas 4 1/2
4. Bianca 2 1/2
5. Lexi 2 1/2 months
6. Alani 4 1/2
7. Mia 2

In the other part of this story, I talked about sports that I liked, starting with boxing when I was living in Puerto Rico, and at my age I still like it. I also like baseball and billiards which I enjoy watching on television. I play pool with the other men at the senior center.

Now I have a new hobby. My daughter gave me an idea. She told me I should try painting which she does herself. So I am trying to do some sketching which I have always liked to do for some time but never did.

Now since I don't have much to do, I spend some of my time doing it every day after I come home from the center. Even though whatever I do doesn't look too good, I still enjoy sketching.
